Collection AOI Wall Art

Aoi is the color blue in the Japanese language. Initially, no connection with this collection of photographs of street lamps. But it was the first word that sprang from my mind when looking at my designs. Probably because I study Japanese and that day I had learned the adjectives of color: kurui, aoi, shiroi, kiiroi, akai ... All in -i, upright, drawn up towards the sky, familiar with the clouds like those street lamps that only need their voice! So, ultimately, Aoi is the perfect name for this collection. Photographs taken between 2018 and 2020 in France and Italy.
